<aside> 💜 I am a PhD student in the School of Computer Science at McGill University.
I am supervised by ****Dr. Jin Guo, and broadly speaking, I work in human-computer interaction and human-centered artificial Intelligence, to understand how algorithmic systems are influenced by and exacerbate existing social forces.
Specifically, I study contestability - how can people dispute, scrutinize, and contest algorithmic decisions?
I am also interested in AI policy and value-sensitive design.
I am funded by McGill and NSERC, and I am affiliated with MILA (Quebec AI Institute). Previously, I have interned at Microsoft and Huawei, and I completed my B.Sc. at McGill University in Honours Math and Computer Science.
